On September 6, 2017 Tanner went in to have a CT scan done on his head because he was complaining of headaches. Little did we know that the results would change our lives. They found a golf-ball size tumor in his brain. Testing was done at TMC and UMC in Tucson before he was transported to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
On September 11th, he underwent a 12 hour long surgery where they successfully removed the tumor. Tanner still has a long road ahead of him. Even though they managed to remove the tumor, chemotherapy and radiation will need to be done
to cure his brain tumor.
